The civilizational struggle is not between "the Islamic civilization as a whole" and "the Hebraic civilization of Greater Israel," a framing that suits Alastair Crooke's reading of Eurasian history.

If he broadens his view to include the entirety of the human majority encompassing not only Eurasia but all the other inhabited continents, it should be obvious to him that we are experiencing the last, horrendously violent, gasp of the 500-year, white European colonial, settler-colonial, and neocolonial project.

The Zionist state is clearly a settler-colonial state, with the same inherently genocidal character as the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Algeria, South Africa, and other places Europeans invaded and declared terra nullus. Israel is at the same time a landed aircraft carrier for the dangerously homicidal U.S. empire.

Where religion enters the picture is incidental to the overall thrust of this historical moment: unipolarity yielding inexorably to multipolarity, imperial domination yielding to national liberation, violence as an instrument of international relations yielding to sovereignty, diplomacy, mutuality, and respect.

The real danger here is that the U.S. ruling elite are manifesting red-flag behaviour, brandishing their weapons – which they have used to kill tens of millions of people since 1945 – uttering threats, oblivious to the fact they are in deep decline and no one fears them in conventional terms.

This leaves nuclear weapons, which Biden, Blinken, Nuland, Kagan, and the entire psychopathic cast of characters who run the U.S. imperium will use rather than to admit they are wrong: that the world doesn't want them, doesn't think like them, and has no use for them.

The Washington establishment are a meth-addled freak living in a rotting trailer coddling an AR-15 and a grudge against humanity.

The American people need to take those nuclear weapons away from the U.S. imperial state. Its proxies need to be defunded and disarmed. Then the world can calm down and people of whatever ethnicity, language, religion, history, and civilization can live amongst each other and work together to survive and repair this planet.

It is up to the American people to topple the empire before, its carriers at the bottom of the sea, it blows the world up to keep humanity from enjoying life without it.
