Continuing the proxy war.
There is no question in my mind that Prime Minister Carney is fully conversant with every detail of this history of the U.S. proxy war on Russia in Ukraine.
Given this knowledge, I am at a loss to understand why, on August 11, 2025, CBC News reported in an article titled "Carney and Zelenskyy speak ahead of Trump-Putin summit in Alaska" that Mr. Carney "said Ukraine's allies must continue to keep pressure on Russia to end its aggression."
If the Prime Minister wants Canada to participate in NATO's continuation of U.S. aggression against Russia while the U.S. turns its attention to its war on China, I do not understand why he would conceal this intention behind the falsehood that Russia is the aggressor in this conflict.
The Canadian public deserve to be properly informed and asked in a responsible way whether we want to spend our money trying to destroy the Russian Federation.
I personally oppose continuing the U.S. proxy war on Russia and urge Ottawa to assert its sovereignty, break with the U.S. and NATO, and engage in constructive dialog with Russian leaders to establish peaceful, mutually beneficial relations.
