Domestic policy

• Six million Canadians have no family doctor.
• 34% of Canadian renters pay more than 50% of their take-home pay for rent.
• 300,000 Canadians "experience homelessness" every year.
• Untreated mental illness and drug addiction are rampant in Canada.

Carney's first step in this video explaining his "Canada Strong" slogan – despite later saying that the cost "in today's dollars" of building the St. Lawrence Seaway is multiples of the dollars spent – is to "cut wasteful government spending."

Carney works for finance capital. His entire career is predicated on increasing the asset value of giant institutional "investors."

Carney can't tell the public that his objective is to steer as much of the surplus created by Canada's economy as he can into the hands of rent seekers chasing unearned income – "investors" in his lexicon – so he talks up how good his policies are for "Canadians."

Everything Carney says is code: A "chance" to succeed means if you are of no value to "investors," you will be thrown out onto the street to live like a stray dog and Carney will "adequately fund" police to "protect" Canadians who do increase the wealth sequestered in giant financial institutions' hands – foreign and domestic – from you.

The question Carney assumes is answered is never allowed to be asked: Is the purpose of an economy to create a surplus adequate to satisfy reliably the ongoing material needs of a population, or is it to increase the dollar value of portfolios whose only purpose is to increase?

Foreign policy

To frighten Canadians into supporting reallocating tax dollars from inadequately funded social services toward militarizing our "closest allies" and ourselves, Carney never tires of repeating the phony narrative that Russia has expansionist designs on Europe, and even Canada, against which "NATO's northern and western flanks" must be fortified to "defend" itself against nonexistent Russian aggression.

Carney and his attack dog Anita Anand, who judging by her resume probably believes her own rhetoric, express righteous performative outrage when Russia attacks Ukrainian weapons manufacturing, command and control, and other military targets in retaliation for NATO-EU drone attacks carried out by their proxies in Kiev on Russia's nuclear triad and energy infrastructure and terror attacks on Russian civilians and civilian infrastructure.

NATO-EU's game at this stage in its proxy war on Russia in Ukraine is to provoke Russia to retaliate with attacks on weapons manufacturing facilities and staging areas inside NATO so that NATO-EU's most rabid warmongers – Ursula von der Leyen, Kaja Kallas, Friedrich Merz, Kier Starmer, Emmanuel Macron – and now Mark Carney and Anita Anand – can shout: "See?!?? Russia is attacking NATO! Article 5! Article 5!"

Carney is playing the oldest game in the book: demonize the target of your aggression, lie that he is the greatest threat to humanity since the Mustache Man, and hand billions in taxpayer and especially borrowed dollars to weapons manufacturers, whose stock and corporate debt, in addition to Canadian "sovereign" debt, his truest, dearest friends, giant global institutional investors, hold.

Carney's class are lined up to gorge themselves at the military-industrial trough, and Canadians will pay the freight: with social services even less adequately funded than they are now and mountains of debt we will repay into the unforeseeable future for, best case, overpriced, unnecessary weapons that do not work, and worst case, global nuclear war.
